Heidi Montag looks plastic enough, and confesses as much this week, claiming to be “obsessed” with plastic surgery. But outside of a breast implants she hardly looks like she’s gone under the knife excessively.
So why make such a sick claim? How else could the the irritating 23-year-old reality TV star land on the cover of People magazine, outside of murdering her equally obnoxious husband Spencer Pratt, of course?
More likely her “obsession” with plastic surgery is really a fixation with attention.
Heidi tells the magazine she kept the plastic surgeries secret from her family when she began her procedures.
She went on to have a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation in 2007, and then went back and had 10 procedures in one day.
While that’s possible, no plastic surgeon in his/her right mind would put someone through 10 procedures at once, unless they were very minor.
She says she wants to become “the best me” she can be. “I plan to get a few more upgrades … I’m sure as I get older I’ll need some touch-ups. I think I want to go bigger on my boobs for [Spencer],” she’s said.
The busty blond said she used Playboy like a shopping catalog for her breasts. Too bad she refused to bare them when she posed for the magazine in September. How good can they be?
While an obsession with plastic surgery is being increasingly recognized as a serious affliction, Montag just doesn’t make a convincing poster girl for the problem.
More likely she is just looking for a way to extend her 15 minutes of fame. Not surprisingly, Heidi also is plugging her attempt to launch a music career.
The aspiring singer has just released her debut album “Superficial,” which she claims took her three years and $2 million to finish.
“It’s cost as much or more than a Britney Spears album, because I wanted it to be that quality and to be able to get those people,” Montag told Entertainment Weekly.
Attention Heidi; you’re no Britney, with or without plastic surgery.
