Kristin Cavallari lost 20 pounds two months after giving birth with a low-carb Paleo-style diet and strength-training workouts.

Cavallari is a fitness fanatic who always made a point to eat organic foods inspired by the Paleo diet, which limits processed foods and emphasizes high-quality proteins like grass-fed beef and bison, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported..

“I’m a freak about what I put in my mouth,” Kristin told E! “I’m constantly reading labels and I don’t eat any toxic chemicals, so I think that plays a huge role. I’m breast-feeding, which burns a ton of calories, and I can probably just thank my mama too, you know.”

Cavallari said her breakfast is usually a smoothie, oatmeal or eggs, while lunch is a salad or turkey sandwich. Kristin also snacks most afternoons, enjoying nuts with dried cherries, chips with hummus, or an apple with almond butter.

Kristin also eats plenty of healthy, Paleo-approved fats like olive oil, avocados, and coconut oil. “I also love avocados with olive oil and sea salt and I put coconut oil in or on everything,” she said.

TV star Stacy Keibler, who’s eight months pregnant with her first child, also credits a low-carb, Paleo-style diet for her healthy pregnancy.

Kristin’s rapid post-baby weight loss isn’t surprising, since she lost all her baby weight in three months after her first pregnancy (in 2012).

Fitness expert Tracy Anderson, who lost all her baby weight just six weeks after giving birth, said the secret to fast post-baby weight loss is to follow a healthy diet and work out while pregnant.

Cavallari said she began working out just three weeks after her second son, Jaxon, was born (in May 2014).

Kristin exercises 30 to 45 minutes, four to five days a week, incorporating weight-lifting, and lots of squats and lunges. Cavallari will soon resume Pilates to tighten up her abs.

The slimline 5-foot-6 blonde beauty previously revealed she’s so obsessed with clean eating that she eats fast food just twice a year.

Interestingly, Cavallari thought she looked fat when she starred on the reality TV show “The Hills” in 2009, and slimmed down dramatically a few years ago after seeing an unflattering photo of herself.

Kristin has come a long way from “The Hillls.” She’s now a successful designer with her own clothing line and shoe collection.
