Lady Gaga Flaunts Hot Yoga Body at Oscars: Wows Fans With ‘Sound of Music’ Tribute

Lady Gaga showed off her hot yoga body and wowed fans with her incredible “Sound of Music” performance at the 2015 Academy Awards Feb. 22.

Gaga, who attended the Oscars without fiance Taylor Kinney, changed her dress three times, and made fashion statements each time. On the red carpet, Lady Gaga wore a glittery white evening gown complete with quirky red dishwashing-style gloves.

Gaga’s “red dishwashing gloves” have since become a hot Oscar meme. At the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, Gaga spotlighted her sexy curves in a sleeveless black dress, where her black underwear poked through the sheer material.

On the Oscar stage, Gaga brought down the house with her stirring performance of the “Sound of Music,” which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Even Julie Andrews, who played Maria von Trapp in the hit 1965 film the Sound of Music, was stunned by Lady Gaga’s incredible voice.

Gaga, a longtime workout fanatic, has practiced yoga for years, and admitted she exercises even when she’s drunk, Examiner reported.

“I’ve got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I am hung over,” she said. “And it’s about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. Lady Gaga is in great shape after gaining 25 pounds in 2013 binge-eating pizza and pasta at her parents’ NYC Italian restaurant. Gaga lost the weight quickly, saying her weight loss secrets are yoga and a portion-controlled diet.

While Gaga wasn’t bothered by her weight gain, she was called out by the media over her fuller figure, prompting the petite singer to hit back at critics via Twitter.

“To all the girls that think you’re ugly because you’re not a size 0, you’re the beautiful one. It’s society who’s ugly,” she said.

Gaga also revealed on her blog that she battled bulimia for over 10 years, and encouraged fans to embrace their bodies without judgment.

“[I’ve had] bulimia and anorexia since I was 15,” she wrote on her blog. “My weight loss/gain since I was child has tormented me.”lady gaga weight lossGaga, born Stefani Germanotta, finally overcame bulimia after realizing the constant vomiting was damaging her voice. “I had to stop. Gaga underscored that young girls need to value themselves and not get caught up in self-destructive cycles of crash-dieting and self-loathing.

The pop icon said she has finally learned to love herself, flaws and all. “This is who I am,” she wrote. “And I am proud at any size.”

Gaga, who won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2009 album, Fame Monster, recently collaborated with legendary crooner Tony Bennett on Cheek to Cheek.

Lady Gaga’s longtime trainer is fitness expert Harley Pasternak, author of The Body Reset Diet. Pasternak’s other celebrity clients include Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson and Megan Fox.
