Kim Zolciak proudly flaunted her tiny waist and stunning weight loss, courtesy of corset waist training and a healthy diet.
Zolciak, a mom of six, spotlighted her fit body on Instagram after recently losing 50 pounds.
Kim said her weight loss secrets include a healthy diet featuring 310 Nutrition protein shakes and corset waist training.
“Thankful for 310 Nutrition for keeping me in check!” Kim said. “The shakes really help me! You guys keep asking what’s my favorite flavor.
“I’m torn between vanilla and chocolate! I LOVE peanut butter so I add that to the chocolate one, and I love strawberries so I add that to the vanilla one! It’s all depends on your preference. The cleanse is really helpful to jumpstart you.”
Zolciak got tummy tuck plastic surgery shortly after giving birth to twins in November 2013, but insisted her 50-pound weight loss wasn’t due to her tummy tuck, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
“Just so you guys are aware of how fabulous I was before my tummy tuck! This picture on the left was taken a few months after I had the twins and before surgery!” Kim wrote on Facebook.Other celebrities who do waist training are Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba and Brooke Burke.
Waist-training, or the “Corset Diet,” is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection.
“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.
Kim Kardashian said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller ahead of her May 2014 wedding. Actress Jessica Alba has credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic post-baby weight loss.
Similarly, Brooke Burke Charvet, creator of the Transform Your Body workout DVD, said wearing a corset was responsible for her stunning post-baby weight loss after each of her four pregnancies.
“Wrapping your post-partum belly is a concept that has been around for centuries,” said Brooke, who has her own line of belly wraps called Baboosh. “It works as a compression garment. It helps the swelling of the uterus go back down to its original size and it supports all that baggy baby skin. It is a great, great way to get back in shape.”
