Supermodel Irina Shayk Reveals Bikini-Body Diet, Workout and Beauty Secrets

Irina Shayk’s bikini fitness secrets are an organic diet and regular exercise that includes Pilates.

Supermodel Irina Shayk was born with excellent genes, but also credits good old-fashioned diet and exercise for her sexy bikini body.

“I believe in eating what I like and sweating it out in the gym,” Shayk told Viva. ‘”I work out every day and avoid exercises that make my body too muscular. I focus on activities like running, boxing, cycling and Pilates.”

While many people hate working out, Irina enjoys it because she knows it’s good for her, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

“You have to love your body, respect it and treat it well,” said Shayk. “I spend time doing cardio because it makes me feel good.”

Shayk, who recently broke up with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, made the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Irina was born beautiful but doesn’t take her smoking-hot looks for granted.

Shayk’s beauty secrets include sunscreen, plenty of sleep, drinking lots of water, and regular spa treatments, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

“In my country, women spend a lot of time on beauty rituals and take very good care of themselves,” said the 5’10” green-eyed beauty. “Natural beauty is carefully cherished and is brought to perfection by makeup, clothes and the unique combination of little things that are called ‘personal charm.’ ”

Irina, who dated Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo from 2010 to 2015, enjoys taking care of her body — not only because that’s her job, but because she loves to exercise.

“I never really diet,” says Shayk. “I think that a person can eat what she likes and do some exercises to be in shape — doesn’t matter if it’s going to be gym or swimming, walking in a park or Pilates.”

Irina added: “It should be a pleasure [to exercise], as positive emotions always make you beautiful! I personally love going to the gym! I have a great trainer, and work out three to five times a week. When I travel, I try to work out at least three times a week. It’s very important for me. After it, I feel full of energy.”

“I spend a lot of time in the sun due to my work, so I always protect my skin,” said Shayk. “I use a sunscreen with high SPF index, an after-sun lotion for my face and special sun-protecting homemade oils that I get on Seychelles or the Bahamas for my body.

Irina added: “In the morning, I like to rub my face with an ice cube made of chamomile infusion or green tea.

Irina-Shayk beauty secrets GQ“I love to moisturize my skin with a slice of fresh cucumber. And I love a Russian sauna — banya — and always use there a special scrub that I make myself: I mix honey and sea salt. I use only this scrub for my face and body.”

While Shayk has all the physical attributes of a supermodel, sex appeal to her is about more than just surface beauty.

“My definition of sexy is very simple: You need to be yourself, natural, the way you are,” said Irina. “It’s the most attractive thing in the world. People who love themselves the way they are are always very sexy and attractive.”
