Robert Pattinson, who raised eyebrows with his surprise engagement to FKA Twigs, will have children soon if his fiancée has her way.
“She really wants kids,” a source told People.
Pattinson, 28, began dating Twigs (whose real name is Tahliah Barnett) in September 2014, and Rob reportedly proposed to her last month.
Insiders claim Rob and FKA Twigs want a summer wedding, but have not yet made plans. Meanwhile, “Twilight” fans are up in arms that “their Rob” has decided to marry someone whom they deem far less fabulous than Pattinson’s ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
FKA Twigs has been attacked online for being “too ugly” and unworthy of Pattinson.
Rob previously said he wishes people stop talking about Kristen’s cheating incident and give him some space.
Pattinson, one of Hollywood’s most reluctant A-listers, said Stewart’s cheating was almost less traumatic than the intense media scrutiny that followed. “S–t happens, you know?” Rob told Esquire UK. “It’s just young people. It’s normal! And honestly, who gives a s–t?”
Pattinson continued: “The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict.”
Pattinson met Kristen on the set of their 2009 blockbuster “Twilight” and dated until 2012, when Stewart famously cheated on him with Rupert Sanders, who directed her in the film “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Kristen publicly apologized to Rob, but the damage was done, and their once-close relationship eventually fell apart.
Rob, who thought the media fascination with him and Kristen would end once the Twilight saga wrapped, doesn’t understand why people remain so interested in him because he thinks he’s a boring bloke.
“I don’t understand,” said Pattinson. “I think it goes through periods where you’re assigned, ‘This is the guy to follow.’ But whenever I see a bunch of paparazzi hanging out, I always think, ‘Oh God, what have they found out?”
