Kim Kardashian oozed glamor in a dazzling nude Roberto Cavalli gown at the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala on May 4.

Kim has maintained her 56-pound post-baby weight loss with the low-carb ketogenic-based Atkins diet and waist training, Examiner reported.

Kim Kardashian does corset "waist training" to slenderize her tummy.Waist-training, or the “Corset Diet,” is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection.

“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.

Kim said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller ahead of her May 2014 wedding to Kanye West. The measure sounds drastic, but actress Jessica Alba has credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic post-baby weight loss.

In addition to waist training, Kim credited a low-carb ketogenic-style Atkins diet for her 56-pound post-baby weight loss.

Kardashian’s ketogenic Atkins diet consisted of 1,800 to 2,200 calories and limited daily carb intake to less than 60 grams. Kim’s daily menu combined proteins such as fish, chicken and meat and healthy fats like olive oil, avocados and nuts.kim-kardashian-throwback-bikini-weight-loss-ketogenicFocusing on healthy fats and going low-carb promotes rapid weight loss by forcing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Low-carb diets keep blood sugar levels stable and prevent food cravings, which helps with mental clarity and boosts mood, said Colette Heimowitz, author of The New Atkins Made Easy.

Kim Kardashian is the author of the selfie photography book, Selfish, which features a catalogue of her favorite selfies.
