Jessica Simpson Wears Sedona Swimsuit After 70 Pound Weight Loss: Her Low Carb Diet and Yoga Secrets

Jessica Simpson is fitter than ever after her 70-pound weight loss with a low-carb diet and yoga.

Jessica Simpson showed off her 70-pound weight loss in a sexy fringe swimsuit for her spring 2015 Jessica Simpson Collection, called the “Sedona” collection.

Simpson, 34, looks better than she did 10 years ago, when she donned a pair of Daisy Dukes for the movie The Dukes of Hazzard.

In the May 15 Instagram swimsuit photo, Jessica spotlighted her toned legs, courtesy of yoga, walking and a low-carb diet.

The bust 5-foot-3 Simpson has lost more than 70 pounds since giving birth to son Ace Knute in June 2013. Simpson lost the same amount of weight six months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell in May 2012.

Jessica Simpson said gaining 70 pounds during her pregnancies was depressing and made her insecure.

Simpson, a rep for Weight Watchers, has credited a low-carb diet and rigorous daily workouts for her dramatic weight loss, Examiner reported.

Jessica’s diet typically features a mix of high-quality proteins like salmon and chicken and fresh vegetables and salads. Simpson also avoids processed foods and limits sugar.

Low-carb diets like the Atkins, Paleo and ketogenic plans promote rapid weight loss by forcing the body to burn body fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

For exercise, the mom of two walks a minimum of four to five miles every day (or 8,000 to 10,000 steps) and does yoga. Simpson also works out at the gym for 45 minutes, four days a week, with her longtime trainer Harley Pasternak, creator of the 5-Factor Workout DVD.

Simpson’s longtime trainer, Harley Pasternak, said the foundation of Jessica’s workout routine is daily walking. Pasternak, author of The Body Reset Diet, also trains Halle Berry, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian.

Pasternak and Simpson typically work out at the gym four days a week, combining 10 to 20 minutes of cardio exercise, 20 to 30 minutes of resistance training, and lots of flexibility moves.

While Jessica looks better than ever, disturbing new reports claim Simpson’s husband, Eric Johnson, wants her to go to rehab for diet pill addiction, alcoholism and anorexia, Examiner reported.

Simpson’s family reportedly staged an intervention to address her obsession with dieting, exercise, drinking and pill-popping.

“The family dinner started off as a nice conversation about how Jessica should maybe cut back on her workouts and dieting, but it turned into a heated fight,” said a source.
