Kourtney Kardashian flaunted her 45-pound post-baby weight loss and hot bikini body on Instagram shortly after dumping boyfriend Scott Disick.
In the photo (see above), Kourtney wears a tiny tropical-print bikini with a gold body chain that showcased her slender waist and toned legs.
Kardashian has lost about 45 pounds just 8 months after giving birth to her third child. Kourtney’s weight loss secrets are an organic diet, yoga and waist training, Examiner reported.
“I’ve been working out with a trainer, and having somebody else to work out with really helps motivate me,” said Kardashian.
Kourtney, a longtime fitness fanatic, stayed healthy during her pregnancy by following an organic diet and doing yoga workouts.
Yoga promotes natural weight loss by reducing stress, building lean muscles and suppressing appetite, said Jennifer Aniston’s yoga teacher, Mandy Ingber, author of Yogalosophy.
In 2013, Kourtney lost 44 pounds just six months after giving birth to her second child with an organic diet and daily workouts. The 5-foot-tall Kourtney, who slimmed down from 150 pounds to a svelte 106 pounds, ran or did calisthenics on the days she didn’t work out with her trainer.
On other days, Kourtney exercised at home doing yoga or using Tracy Anderson’s 90-minute dance-cardio workouts. Anderson, who also trains Kim Kardashian, shared her diet and workout secrets for rapid weight loss in her bestseller, Tracy Anderson’s 30-Day Method.
Meanwhile, Jessica Alba lost all her baby weight quickly with a low-carb Paleo-style diet, yoga and CrossFit workouts, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.
Low-carb diets such as the Atkins, Paleo and ketogenic diets accelerate weight loss by inducing your body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
Kourtney Kardashian and Jessica Alba have also credited corset waisting training for flattening their bellies. Waist-training, or the “Corset Diet,” is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection.
“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches off their midsection.
Alba credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic post-baby weight loss after each of her two pregnancies.
Similarly, Brooke Burke Charvet, creator of the Transform Your Body workout DVD, said wearing a corset was responsible for her stunning post-baby weight loss after each of her four pregnancies.
“Wrapping your post-partum belly is a concept that has been around for centuries,” said Burke Charvet, who has her own line of belly wraps called Baboosh. “It works as a compression garment. It helps the swelling of the uterus go back down to its original size and it supports all that baggy baby skin. It is a great, great way to get back in shape.”
