Khloe Kardashian is skinnier than ever after her recent 35-pound weight loss. Khloe rocked her slimmed-down body in a sexy black evening dress for a date night out with her new boyfriend, NBA star James Harden.
Khloe thanked her glam squad for her stunning makeover on Instagram.
“All hail @monicarosestyle @jenatkinhair @joycebonelli !!!!! They made me so cute for date night,” Kardashian wrote.
Khloe Kardashian’s trainer, Gunnar Peterson, said intense workouts and a healthy diet are responsible for Khloe’s amazing 35-pound weight loss during the past few months.
Gunnar, who has trained Khloe since 2012, said Kardashian boxes, does cardio exercise and fat-burning interval training, Examiner reported.
“[Our workouts incorporate] different intervals mixed up, whether it’s the motion of the interval or the duration of the interval or the intensity,” said Peterson. “There is no typical routine.”
One thing that never changes is Khloe’s dedication to exercise. “She never cancels,” said Gunnar. “Khloé gives as much to the gym as the gym gives to her. She’s in love with fitness.”
Khloe said her 35-pound weight loss was sweet revenge against fat-shamers who have criticized her body and weight over the years.
“It’s for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one’ for my entire existence,” said Kardashian.
Khloe, who has been called “Sasquatch,” “Bigfoot” and “ugly sister,” credited rigorous workouts, waist training and a dairy-free diet for her dramatic weight loss.
Kardashian started exercising intensely in 2012 to deal with her heartache as her marriage to former NBA star Lamar Odom was imploding.
“It started around 2012,” said Khloe. “I was having a hard time with Lamar. It was toward the end of our union, and there was so much drama. I needed a release. At first it was so hard, but I started feeling so much better.”
Kardashian said working out regularly became a habit after she kept it up for three months. “The first 45 days you’re like, ‘F–k this s–t,’” she says. “You’re exhausted, you’re sore, and I actually felt fatter because I was swollen.”
While Khloe loves the weight loss she has experienced, she says exercise relieves her anxiety and depression. Kardashian added that she exercises a lot because she loves to eat.
“I’m a foodie,” said Khloe. “If I could control what I eat, I would have the best body ever, but because I have no self-control I have to work harder. I would rather work out harder and eat what I want, in moderation.”
In addition to rigorous workouts, Kardashian claims corset waist training has helped her get flat abs. Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian also do corset waist training to flatten their abs and slim down their waistline, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.
“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.
Khloe’s sister Kim said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller ahead of her May 2014 wedding to Kanye West.
The measure sounds drastic, but actress Jessica Alba has credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic weight loss after each of her two pregnancies.
Gunnar Peterson said Khloe’s dedication at the gym is unmatched.
“Khloe’s a full-on animal in the gym,” said Gunnar. “No complaining, no b*tching. The changes she’s made [to her body] are incredible. She’s done it the right way. Nothing fast, just hard work.” Peterson, creator of Gunnar’s Core Secrets fitness DVD, said Khloe’s workouts include cardio, plyometric pushups, hauling a sled, dead lifts, resistance bands and ab exercises. Kardashian also does Pilates and lots of squats.
