Robert Pattinson is a sexy beast in his new ad campaign for Dior Homme Eau For Men cologne.
In the smoldering black-and-white photos and video, Pattinson looks dashingly handsome as he wanders the streets of New York alone.
Robert, 29, previously said he agreed to rep Dior Homme Eau For Men cologne to have a change of pace from acting.
“I wanted to do something different,” said Pattinson, 29. “Doing something that is quite mainstream but also edgy fit into where I want my life to go.”
While Rob has been hailed as a global sex symbol thanks to his star-making turn in the blockbuster Twilight franchise, he gets anxious about his appearance.
“When I first did ‘Twilight’ I didn’t care about how I looked,” Pattinson told InStyle. “There was less pressure, I guess.
“Now, every time I appear somewhere, I think, ‘I don’t know how many more times I can do this.’ Dressing up to go somewhere and be looked at, I get so nervous.”
Pattinson, who played the dashing vampire Edward Cullen in five Twilight movies, said his life is exponentially better now that his Twilight mega-fame has subsided.
“I had people sitting outside my house every single day, and it drove me crazy,” said Pattinson, who’s engaged to singer FKA Twigs. “I didn’t go into a supermarket for about six years.”
Rob continued: “But now I can go in and chat to the guy who’s working there about his kids, or where he’s going on holiday, and not be thinking, ‘Is he gonna sell me out?’ I just don’t have to think about that stuff anymore.”
The self-deprecating Pattinson admits he despises fame because he’s a self-conscious, insecure person.
“I’m the most uncomfortable person in the world,” said Rob. “It’s taken me a really long time to find out what my voice is, or even if I had the right to say anything at all.”
Pattinson continued: “A lot of people, when they’re really young, tend to be like, ‘I’ve got something to say and I want everyone to hear it!’ But I’ve never wanted anyone to hear what I’m saying, because it’s probably stupid.”
