Khloe Kardashian Details 40 Pound Weight Loss: Her Exercise And Healthy Diet Addiction

Khloe Kardashian looks sensational after her 40-pound weight loss, and has become addicted to exercise and a healthy diet because they make her feel fantastic.

“I definitely think the physical and the mental go hand in hand,” Kardashian told People. “I feel so good in the gym that it [affects] the rest of my day. It’s a healthy addiction. It’s like buying your sanity!”

Khloe has lost 40 pounds during the past few months with daily workouts, waist training and a dairy-free diet, Examiner reported.

Kardashian said regular exercise helped her cope with the enormous stress she felt when husband Lamar Odom was hospitalized in a coma after a near-fatal drug overdose.

khloe kardashian weight loss diet“Mentally, it took its toll on me,” said Khloe. “But for the first month, I wasn’t even really thinking about [my missed workouts]. It wasn’t about me. But once I started getting my feet back under me a little bit, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I need to get back to my [fitness] routine.”

Khloe shared her diet, workout, weight loss, and beauty secrets in her book, Strong Looks Better Naked.

Kardashian said her daily diet typically looks like this:

  • Breakfast at 5 a.m. – “A huge glass of water followed by black coffee.”
  • Snack at 11 a.m. – Apple with peanut butter or nuts.
  • Lunch: Chinese chicken salad, more water and and chopped vegetables.
  • Dinner at 7 p.m. – Steamed vegetables and fish.
  • Evening snack – Greek yogurt and fruit.

Khloe shared her weight loss and beauty secrets in her book ‘Strong Looks Better Naked.’

Khloe snacks on pre-cut vegetables and fruits like strawberries and blackberries during the day and drinks almond milk instead of cow’s milk, which she says causes bloating and weight gain.

Khloo also said her weight loss secret is daily workouts that combine fat-burning cardio exercise with weight training. She also trains on a bosu ball to improve her agility and tone her butt and thighs.

In addition to rigorous workouts, Kardashian said corset waist training helped her get flat abs.

Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian also do corset waist training to slim down their waistline, as Celebrity Health & Fitness has reported.

Waist training (or the Corset Diet), is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection.

“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.

Khloe’s sister Kim said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller after she gave birth to daughter North in 2014.

Khloe denied rampant rumors she got butt implants, liposuction and other plastic surgery, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.

“People say I’ve had my butt done or I’ve had liposuction. When I hear that I have fake body parts it frustrates me, said Kardashian. “But I also take it as a compliment. ”

Khloe continued: “I bust my *ss every day, so I get annoyed when people say I’ve had liposuction. On the other hand, I take it as 
a compliment because it’s like 
I look that good that my butt looks fake.”

Khloe also denied getting a nose job, other facial plastic surgery or Botox.

“I haven’t done Botox or anything like that yet, but I have no problem doing it,” said Kardashian. “If I need filler, and when I do, because one day I will, I’m going to get it. But until then, I’ll do whatever I can to prevent wrinkles and aging.”

Khloe’s beauty secrets include her favorite makeup products to keep her skin radiant and blemish-free.

“When my t-zone gets oily, I feel like it makes my face look dirty, so I’m powdering with Ben Nye Translucent Face Powder all the time,” said Khloe.

“I’m also very into putting sunscreen on my hands when I’m in the car. I don’t want to get sunspots. I like the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen because it doesn’t leave the film that others will, which greases up your car.”

“Every night, I wash my face with two different cleansers,” said Kardashian. “One is the Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser. It’s for breakouts because it’s just so intense. I use either baby oil or coconut oil to take off my makeup.

Khloe added: “After that, I use La Mer’s Crème de La Mer every night and then lather my skin in Bio-Oil Specialist Moisturizer. Sometimes I combine the two to thin it out, but I tend to like a really heavy cream to sleep in.”

“Kourtney got me into all these Mama Mio products that are all natural—I think she used them when she was breastfeeding,” said Khloe. “There is one that’s called the Shrink to Fit Cellulite Smoother that I like.”

Khloe Kardashian uses Mama Mio’s pregnancy lotions and stretch mark products for glowing skin.

Khloe added: “I use one of their other products called the Pregnancy Boob Tube every day. It’s got avocado oil and shea butter so when your boobs are growing you don’t get stretch marks. I like it because it tightens your neck, too. I’ve been using it every day for a year.”
