Khloe Kardashian Displays 40-Pound Weight Loss In Exercise Selfie: Diet Tips And Menu

Khloe Kardashian is basking in the glow of her 40-pound weight loss, and looks fitter than ever.

Khloe posted an Instagram gym selfie that spotlighted her newly slim hips, flat abs and hourglass curves.

Khloe said daily workouts and a mostly dairy-free diet helped her lost 40 pounds during the past three years, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.

Khloe, who has gained and lost the same 35 pounds for years, said she was frustrated when she didn’t drop lots of weight rapidly. But consistent action helped her shed 40 pounds, and she couldn’t be happier.

Kardashian told fans on Twitter that weight loss is a long-term project, and you shouldn’t get discouraged if you don’t lose 30 pounds in 30 days like those fad diets promise.

“For the first two months, I was like, ‘What? I am sweating, I’m busting my a**, I’m tired, I’m hungry,’ but you don’t notice anything,” Khloe said.“But you just keep on going. Your body takes a minute for the change to show.”

Khloe shared her diet, workout, weight loss, and beauty secrets in her book, Strong Looks Better Naked.

Kardashian said her daily diet typically looks like this:

  • Breakfast at 5 a.m. – “A huge glass of water followed by black coffee.”
  • Snack at 11 a.m. – Apple with peanut butter or nuts.
  • Lunch: Chinese chicken salad, more water and and chopped vegetables.
  • Dinner at 7 p.m. – Steamed vegetables and fish.
  • Evening snack – Greek yogurt and fruit.

Khloe shared her weight loss and beauty secrets in her book ‘Strong Looks Better Naked.’

Khloe snacks on pre-cut vegetables and fruits like strawberries and blackberries during the day and drinks almond milk instead of cow’s milk, which she says causes bloating and weight gain.

Khloo also said her weight loss secret is daily workouts that combine fat-burning cardio exercise with weight training. She also trains on a bosu ball to improve her agility and tone her butt and thighs.

In addition to rigorous workouts, Kardashian said corset waist training helped her get flat abs.

Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian also do corset waist training to slim down their waistline, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.

Waist training (or the Corset Diet), is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection. “This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to 6 inches.

“People say I’ve had my butt done or I’ve had liposuction,” Khloe tweeted. “When I hear that I have fake body parts it frustrates me, but I also take it as a compliment. ”
