Gisele Bundchen: Vegetarian Diet, Yoga Workout And Beauty Tips Revealed

Gisele Bündchen maintains her supermodel body by exercising no matter where she is. Gisele posted a yoga workout selfie from her hotel room in Brazil.

“Getting it done! #afterwork #workout #hotelroom,” Gisele wrote in the Instagram caption.

Bundchen, who at 35 is the world’s highest paid model, maintains her sexy bikini body with a mostly vegetarian diet and daily workouts that include yoga, Examiner reported.

Gisele’s diet features mostly organic vegetables and fruits and excludes alcohol, sugar, red meat and processed foods.

In recent years, Bundchen’s diet has become about 80% vegetarian, said her personal chef, Allen Campbell, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.

“A plant-based diet has the power to reverse and prevent disease,” said Campbell.

The anti-aging health and weight loss benefits of a vegan diet are no surprise to Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.

“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.

Dr. Neal Barnard agrees. “Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” Barnard wrote in his book, the 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart. “A vegan diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, is full of antioxidants which help protect the body from damage by free radicals.”

Another celebrity vegan who lost weight with a vegan diet is Beyonce.

The 5-foot-7 Beyonce who weighed 195 pounds while pregnant, lost 65 pounds six months after giving birth by following her trainer Marco Borges’ vegan diet, detailed in his bestseller, The 22 Day Revolution Diet.

As she did with her first pregnancy in 2009, Bundchen regained her svelte pre-baby body by watching her diet and doing yoga, martial arts and strength-training.

Yoga promotes weight loss and health by reducing stress, building lean muscles and suppressing appetite, said “The Biggest Loser” trainer Bob Harper, creator of the Weight Loss Yoga workout DVD.

Bundchen’s beauty secrets include keeping her skin clean and moisturized.

“I had a really horrible pimple on my nose, and a makeup artist gave me Nelsons Acne Gel,” said Gisele. “I kept putting it on, and my pimple went away.”

Bundchen makes sure she removes all her makeup before bed and after photoshoots to prevent clogged pores and premature wrinkles.
