Ashley Greene has a smoking-hot bikini body, thanks to diet and exercise.
Greene, a longtime workout fanatic, tries to exercise first thing in the morning every day, Examiner reported.
“To fit my workout into my day, I have to be out the door early,” Ashley told Shape. “That means I don’t have time to think about whether I’m tired or to come up with excuses.”
Greene continued: “I’ve found that when I exercise in the morning, I have a much more productive day. After I finish my workout, I feel as if I can conquer the world.”
Ashley, best known for playing vampire Alice Cullen in the Twilight franchise, follows a portion-controlled diet that features lots of vegetables and proteins such as fish and chicken.
“What I put into my body has a huge impact on the results I get out of it,” said Greene. “Eating keeps my metabolism cranking.”
Ashley usually substitutes spaghetti squash for pasta and cauliflower for mashed potatoes to limit carbs, but indulges her favorite foods, including cheese, red wine, coconut water, and dark chocolate.
“When I want something sweet, I love Zico Chocolate Coconut Water,” said Greene. “It’s an awesome substitute to quench your thirst and sweet tooth without being really bad for you.”
Ashley’s workouts include circuit-training, hiking, yoga, Pilates and kickboxing, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Greene’s favorite exercise is a fat-blasting total-body workout on the VersaClimber. Ashley climbs 4,000 feet at least three times a week.
“It’s an insane full-body workout that gets your cardiovascular levels very high very quickly,” she said. “It really pushes you, but it’s so fun that it’s addictive.”
