Rob Kardashian is being pursued to be the face of several weight loss product companies after shedding 50 pounds with diet and exercise.
Rob recently got engaged to Blac Chyna, who has helped him overhaul his diet and workout regimen to jumpstart his weight loss.
Kardashian recently revealed on SnapChat that he weighs 248 pounds and wants to lose an additional 40 to 50 pounds within the next five weeks.
“Looking from where I started 298 pounds to my current weight now 248.4 pounds,” said Rob. “I’m focused and determined to reach my goal weight 200-205 lbs …. Happy I found my motivation.”
Blac Chyna said she will train Rob to reach his weight loss goal before her birthday in 5 weeks (May 11, to be exact). Sources told TMZ several health companies, including Hydroxycut and Quest Nutrition, have been dying to hire Kardashian as their rep.
Rob, who gained over 100 pounds three years ago, began to diet and exercise in earnest shortly after he started dating Blac Chyna, and is now healthier than he has been in years, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Kardashian, who was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, has lost 70 pounds with a low carb diet and intense workouts. Rob said he now weighs 248 pounds and wants to lose an additional 50 pounds.
Kardashian has really amped up his weight loss efforts after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Rob’s diet excludes fast food, and he exercises 5 days a week (usually with Chyna as his trainer).
Kardashian began dating Blac Chyna in January 2016, but she has really helped him overhaul his diet and motivated him to work out regularly, Examiner reported.
“[Rob] has really been taking care of himself,” said a source. “It really all is because of Blac Chyna.”
Rob was so happy about his weight loss that he asked Chyna to marry him with a gorgeous $325,000, seven-carat diamond ring.
Kardashian’s weight loss secrets are a low-carb diet that excludes red meat and fast food. Rob also exercises 5 days a week to manage his type 2 diabetes.
Rob’s older sister, Kim Kardashian, recently lost 42 pounds in 3 months with the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet. Kim is planning to shed an additional 28 pounds with the Atkins 40 Diet, which limits her daily carb intake to 40 net grams.
In 2014, Kim lost 56 pounds in 6 months with an Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 net grams.
Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
