Cindy Crawford Bikini Fitness And Beauty Tips At 50: Low Carb Diet And Yoga Workouts

Cindy Crawford flaunted her sizzling yoga-toned bikini body on Instagram during a sun-splashed beach vacation in the Bahamas.

In the photo, Cindy spotlights her flat abs in a black string bikini while wading through gorgeous aquamarine waters.

Cindy’s anti-aging fitness secrets are a low carb diet and workouts that combine cardio, yoga, Pilates and weightlifting, as Celebrity Health Fitness previously reported.

Crawford exercises three to four times a week and typically follows a low-carb diet to stay model-slim.

Low carb diets promote weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Physician and Harvard University nutrition professor Dr. David Ludwig agrees.

Low carb diets keep blood sugar levels stable, suppress appetite, and enhance mental clarity and mood, Dr. Ludwig wrote in his bestselling weight loss book, Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells.

But Cindy doesn’t deprive herself, and eats dark chocolate every day. “I love chocolate and I have some every day,” Crawford said. “I like to get the Dagoba Chocodrops that are 74% cacao. A small handful satisfies.”

Cindy’s workouts typically include cardio exercise such as running, spinning, stair-climbing, and hiking. She also does Pilates, yoga, lifts weights, and circuit-trains.

Yoga is anti-aging and promotes natural weight loss by reducing stress, sculpting lean muscles and suppressing appetite, said Jennifer Aniston’s yoga teacher, Mandy Ingber, author of Yogalosophy.

Cindy’s anti-aging beauty secrets include using sunscreen and eye cream, as Celebrity Health Fitness previously reported.

“I use SPF day cream every day, cleanser every day and night,” said Crawford, who also uses wrinkle-fighting eye cream every day.

“The [results are] cumulative. When a 35-year-old starts taking care of her skin, she won’t look different. It’s when you’re my age that you start seeing the payoff.”

Crawford keeps the rest of her body looking great with inexpensive drugstore products. “I use Neutrogena Body Oil on my body after I shower,” Cindy said. “It’s so invigorating.”

Cindy, a mom of two, admits the changes she sees in the mirror each passing year are disheartening, but she’s happy with her life.

“The big numbers [like age 50] are hard for me,” said Crawford. “[But] what day or what experience of my life would I give up to be younger? Nothing.”
