Brooke Burke Charvet has a smoking-hot bikini body at 44, thanks to the Mediterranean diet and regular workouts that includes yoga, cardio exercise, Pilates and strength-training.

Brooke, a mom of four, said exercise is her antidepressant, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Burke Charvet, who follows a Mediterranean diet, also said eating well is important for looking and feeling your best. “We try to eat a Mediterranean diet: lots of greens, lots of fish, lots of vegetables,” Brooke said.

The Mediterranean diet, which is based on the eating plans of the Italian, Greek and Spanish cultures, promotes natural weight loss and slows aging, said Michael Ozner, author of The Complete Mediterranean Diet.

Studies show the Mediterranean diet — which emphasizes healthy fats such as olive oil and avocados, vegetables, lean proteins, beans, nuts, and seed — also enhances longevity, and prevents heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s.

Over the years, Brooke has released a line of highly rated fitness videos including, Brooke Burke Body: 30-Day Slim Down.

As she has gotten older, Burke Charvet has learned to exercise smarter, not longer. Her workouts never exceed an hour, but she gets great results by pumping up the intensity.

“I’m totally working out harder than ever before, but I’m doing it in a smarter, quicker way,” she said. “I don’t have more than an hour to spend anywhere, anytime.”

Brooke Burke Charvet said mixing up your workouts and amping up the intensity is the best way to lose weight and get toned.

Burke Charvet said mixing up your exercise routine is the best way to prevent injury and work out your entire body.

Brooke does SoulCycling spinning workouts, lifts light weights and does calisthenics. She also does yoga and Pilates to stay lean and toned.

Brooke said waist training was responsible for her tiny waist and dramatic post-baby weight loss after each of her four pregnancies.

“Wrapping your postpartum belly has been around for centuries,” said Burke, who has her own line of belly wraps called Baboosh.

Charvet explained: “Baboosh works as a compression garment. It helps the swelling of the uterus go back down to its original size and it supports all that baggy baby skin. It is a great, great way to get back in shape.”

While many Hollywood celebrities hate getting older, Burke is proud of how she looks and feels. “I work hard for [my fit physique], so I feel really good,” she said.
