Kourtney Kardashian has had a tough year after splitting with boyfriend Scott Disick, but looks better than ever, thanks to her 45-pound weight loss with an organic diet that includes ghee and organic honey.

Kourtney starts each morning with one teaspoon of ghee, which is clarified butter.

While it seems counterintuitive to drink a spoonful of fat first thing in the morning, health experts say ghee promotes weight loss, prevents wrinkles, and boosts metabolism, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Ghee is rich in anti-aging antioxidants and fat-burning conjugated linoleic acid.

Kourtney has been drinking a teaspoon of ghee every morning for years, and rapidly lost 45 pounds after each of her three pregnancies with this fitness regimen.

“I have been eating ghee for years because my grandmother made it,” Kardashian told the New Potato. “Now I drink it every morning; I have one teaspoon.”

Kardashian, 36, has long followed an organic diet, which she credits for her glowing skin, toned bikini body, and youthful appearance.

“Good health begins with what you put in your body,” said fitness expert Elizabeth Stein, author of Eating Purely. “When you eat better, you feel better. It’s that simple.”

At 36, the mom of three is in the best shape of her life. Kardashian, who gave birth to her third child in December 2015, has lost 45 pounds during the past few months, thanks to diet and exercise.

Kourtney’s weight loss secrets are an organic diet, ghee, green tea, and daily workouts that include yoga and cardio exercise such as running, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

“Working out is one of the only things that helps when I’m feeling anxious,” Kardashian said.

Kourtney also drinks green tea every morning with organic honey. Green tea has been touted for enhancing weight loss, preventing cancer, and boosting metabolism.

“I drink green tea with Manuka Doctor honey, and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables,” said Kardashian. “I try to eat gluten-free and dairy-free.”

Kourtney, whose face is more radiant than it was in her 20s, uses organic products to keep her complexion glowing. Her anti-aging beauty secrets include toner, anti-wrinkle serum and sunscreen.

Kourtney Kardashian said her family has gone through a lot of hardship (like her breakup, and brother-in-law Lamar Odom’s near-death coma), but she and her sisters always try to maintain a positive attitude.

“There has just been a lot of change in our family in the last year,” said Kourtney. “We are all really, really good at staying positive, focusing on the good. Because what else can you do? It’s better than just sitting there crying all day.”
