Rob Kardashian Rocks 60 Pound Weight Loss Amid Blac Chyna Pregnancy: Diet, Workout Tips

Rob Kardashian is proud of his 60-pound weight loss and promises he’ll lose even more weight before his wedding to Blac Chyna.

“Still got a lot of work to do and weight to lose but glad I’m getting better :):):) ” Rob wrote in the caption to an Instagram photo that spotlighted his stunning before-and-after transformation.

As of April 2016, Rob had lost 50 pounds, slimming down from 298 pounds to 248.4 pounds. Kardashian has since lost even more weight, and appears to have shed another 10 pounds, TheImproper reported.

Friends credit Rob’s fiancee, Blac Chyna, for jump-starting his weight loss. “[Rob] has really been taking care of himself,” said a source. “It really all is because of Blac Chyna.”

Rob’s weight loss secret was a low-carb diet that excludes red meat and fast food, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Kardashian also does cardio exercise at least 5 days a week, including walking on the StairMaster, which can burn more than 800 calories an hour for a man Rob’s size.

Rob’s sister, Kim Kardashian, recently lost 65 pounds in 5 months with the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet.

The 5-foot-2 Kim, who weighed more than 200 pounds while pregnant, now weighs 135 pounds. She wants to lose 15 more pounds to reach her goal weight of 120.

Kim’s weight loss secrets was cardio exercise and the Atkins 40 Diet, which limited her daily carb intake to 40 net grams.

In 2014, Kim lost 56 pounds in 6 months with an Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 net grams.

Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.

Low carb diets also keep blood sugar levels stable, suppress appetite, and enhance mental clarity and mood, said Dr. David Ludwig, author of the bestseller Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells.

Rob Kardashian can’t wait to get in top shape for his wedding to Blac Chyna, who’s pregnant with their first baby. Not only has Chyna helped him lose weight, but he’s happier than ever in every way.

“I’m focused and determined to reach my goal weight 200-205 pounds,” Rob said on Instagram. “Happy I found my motivation.”
