Adele’s 50 Pound Weight Loss Secret Is Sirt Food Diet: Mimics Fasting And Exercise

Adele has maintained her 50-pound weight loss with The Sirt Food Diet, which claims to mimic the fat-burning effects of exercise and fasting.

Adele’s trainer, Pete Geracimo, reportedly encouraged the British singer to adopt The Sirt Food Diet, which fuels natural weight loss by turning on your body’s “skinny gene.”

“By eating specific foods that can activate your metabolism-boosting SIRT1 gene, you can utilize your diet to help burn off excess fat and lose weight,” wrote the book’s authors, nutritionists Glen Matten and Aidan Goggins.

Matten said there are 20 “SIRT foods” that increase lean muscle mass and boost metabolism by mimicking the effects of exercise and fasting.

By eating Sirt foods, you can lose 7 pounds in 7 days without starving. Examples of sirt foods include the following:

Adele previously said lost weight with a vegetarian diet, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported. She said her fiance, Simon Konecki, inspired her to switch to a vegetarian diet in 2013.

Adele is no longer 100% vegetarian, but eats a lot more vegetables, and consumes a lot less sugar and alcohol. Other celebrity vegans include Beyonce and Carrie Underwood.

The 5-foot-7 Beyonce, who once weighed 195 pounds, has since maintained her weight loss and looks better than ever.

Similarly, Jennifer Lopez has credited Marco’s 22-day vegan diet for her 10-pound weight loss and age-defying beauty. The weight loss and anti-aging health benefits of a vegan or vegetarian diet aren’t surprising to physicians like Dr. Joel Fuhrman.

“The more greens you eat, the more weight you will lose,” said Dr. Fuhrman, author of The End of Dieting.

Adele hates exercise, but works out regularly to build stamina for her tour.

As a result of her weight loss, improved health and becoming a mom, the Grammy winner is happier than ever.

Adele recently dropped her third studio album, 25. It’s the long-awaited followup to her smash-hit 2011 album, 21, which won six Grammy Awards.
