Nude Kim Kardashian Flaunts 70 Pound Weight Loss In GQ: Low Carb Diet And Exercise Tips

A nude Kim Kardashian covered GQ magazine, where she spotlighted her 70-pound post-baby weight loss.

This is the first time Kim has covered U.S. edition of GQ, and she couldn’t have picked a more opportune moment: Kardashian looks great after losing 70 pounds since giving birth to son Saint in December 2015.

The 5-foot-2 Kim, who weighed over 200 pounds while pregnant, now weighs 132 pounds.

Kardashian’s weight loss secrets were the low carb, high-fat Atkins diet and cardio workouts, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Kim wants to lose an additional 12 pounds to reach her goal weight of 120 pounds.

In 2014, Kim lost 56 pounds in 6 months with a low-carb Atkins diet that limited her daily carb intake to less than 60 grams. This time, Kardashian is consuming just 40 net grams of carbs a day, TheImproper reported.

Low carb, high-fat diets such as the Atkins and ketogenic diets promote rapid weight loss by inducing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Mark Hyman, author of Eat Fat, Get Thin.

Other celebrities who have lost dramatic amounts of weight on a low-carb diet include Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian, who lost 60 pounds, and Melissa McCarthy, who lost 75 pounds.

Low carb, high-fat diets keep blood sugar stable, suppress appetite, and enhance mood, Dr. David Ludwig wrote in his bestseller, Always Hungry? Conquer Cravings, Retrain Your Fat Cells.

Kim Kardashian’s Atkins diet menu was mostly vegetables, protein and healthy fats. She snacked on Atkins protein bars and did cardio exercise every day.

To burn calories and torch fat, Kardashian ran or walked on the treadmill and used the elliptical trainer.

After tipping the scales at 200 pounds while pregnant, Kardashian was terrified she’d never regain her sexy bikini body, and is glad all the hard work paid off.

“I worked so hard both times [to lose weight after my pregnancies],” said Kim, who promised she’ll post nude selfies “until I die.” “I felt sexy again and empowered.”
