Questioning Hillary Clinton’s health can get you fired, writers and physicians are discovering.
In the latest attack on freedom of the press, the Huffington Post fired journalist David Seaman without explanation after he wrote a post suggesting Hillary’s health may be compromised.
Last week, HLN cancelled “Dr. Drew On Call” just days after Dr. Drew Pinsky questioned if Clinton had suffered brain damage after her 2012 concussion and 2013 brain blood clot, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
HLN — a sister network of the pro-Hillary CNN — claimed the decision was “mutual,” but Dr. Drew fans felt the firing was punishment for questioning Clinton’s health.
Hillary suffered a concussion in 2012 after falling in her home and hitting her head. Husband Bill Clinton said it took Hillary 6 months to recover from the head injury.
In 2013, Hillary suffered a blood clot in her brain. Clinton, who has deep vein thrombosis, also suffered two blood clots in her leg: in 2000 and 1998.
Public concern over Hillary’s health has been slammed by pro-Hillary networks such as CNN and MSNBC as sexist, even though they and other news media vigorously questioned John McCain’s health in 2008.
Eight years ago, mainstream media demanded that then-Republican presidential nominee John McCain release his full medical records because of his advanced age and history of benign skin melanomas.
Several noted physicians — including world-renowned brain surgeon Dr. Ben Carson — called on both Clinton, 69, and Donald Trump, 70, to release detailed medical records, saying the public has a right to know if a candidate can handle the rigors of the presidency.
“Somebody who is running for president of the United States should disclose their medical history,” Dr. Carson told Fox News. “It’s not an eight-hour-a-day job. It’s 24/7.”
Donald Trump has offered to release detailed medical records; Hillary Clinton has categorically refused.
In a 2015 letter, Clinton’s doctor, Lisa Bardack, revealed Hillary suffers from hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid gland).
Symptoms of hypothyroidism include chronic fatigue, memory problems and depression.
Ed Klein, former editor-in-chief of the New York Times Magazine, said Hillary has long battled exhaustion, insomnia, depression, hand tremors and blinding headaches.
“There were incidents on the campaign trail when she felt faint and nearly swooned,” Klein wrote in his 2015 book, Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary. “Those incidents were kept secret.”
Repeated bouts of insomnia have “sapped her energy,” a source told Klein, a former editor at Newsweek. “She is exhausted and depressed a lot of the time.”
Ed Klein’s extensive research also indicates Hillary Clinton is temperamentally unfit to be president because she’s a pathological liar, as evidenced by her e-mail scandals, Benghazi fallout and pay-to-play Clinton Foundation controversy.
“Some observers compare Hillary to Lady Macbeth, whose vaulting ambition led to her downfall,” Klein wrote in his forthcoming book, Guilty as Sin. “She lies even when she doesn’t have to.”
