Beverly Hills housewife Kim Richards is back in rehab for the second time after fellow housewife Brandi Glandville accused her of taking the dangerous stimulant crystal meth.
Richards, 47, has entered and “undisclosed treatment facility,” according to celebrity television show Entertainment Tonight.
In last season’s finale, sister Kyle Richards accused Kim of being an alcoholic. The aunt to socialite Paris Hilton seems to be suffering from an addictive personality.
Kim, a former Disney star, has been a loose cannon on the show, and appeared drunk or under the influence of drugs more than once during the season.
Dr Paul Nassif told Kim on one of last month’s episodes that her slurred speech was caused by a combination of prescription drugs.
She revealed that she is taking anxiety and anti-seizure drugs Lexapro, Trazadone, and Topamax.
Mixing them apparently knocked Kim for a loop.
But Kim’s problems don’t end there. Her sister has also raised concerns about her boyfriend, Ken Blumenfeld, who was arrested for drunk driving in 2009.
When Kim recently disclosed that she is moving in with Blumenfeld, Kyle had an emotional breakdown.
Kyle opposes Kim’s relationship wit the 46-year-old businessman, claiming he just isn’t “right” for her sister.
He’s been seeing Kim for a year.
Kim admitted herself into rehab after the first season of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
The Beverly Hills show was rocked after housewife Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband Russell committed suicide in August, blaming in part the intense scrutiny caused by the show.
But that hasn’t stopped Bravo from airing footage of Taylor’s and Russell’s crumbling marriage before he died.
