Punk Rocker Pink Rocks Out on Her Diet, Weight Loss Secrets

Punk rock singer Pink has dropped an amazing 55 pounds since giving birth to daughter, Willow Sage Hart, in June a year ago. Her svelte, toned figure looks as fierce as ever. She credits daily exercise and a vegan diet.

“I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months,” she tells Shape magazine.

Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, hikes up her black mesh top on the cover to reveal her washboard abs, wearing black bikini bottoms and a black sports bra. “Hottie Alert!!!!! @Pink on the cover of @Shape_Magazine Killin’ it!!!!” the singer wrote.

She continues to work out, even though she’s reached her weight goal. “I like results,” she said. “I like feeling strong. It keeps my mental floor higher. Even if it’s a pain in the *ss and you hate working out, the endorphins help.”

The singer also used her pregnancy to help change her lifestyle. She quit smoking and hasn’t started back up. “I was 9 [when I started smoking]. By the time I turned 12, I was smoking a pack a day. I quit when I got pregnant. Cigarettes smell repulsive to me now.”

But losing weight didn’t come easy. Pink enlisted two trainers Jeanette Jenkins and Jillian Michaels and also worked out on her own, twice daily to start.

She was looking forward to having her first child with husband Carey Hart. “I thought I’d feel like a goddess,” she said. “They sell you on that sh*t, like you’ll never feel more feminine.

“Really, I just felt like a mess, but I kind of enjoyed that too. Hell, yeah, I gained 55 pounds. I think my baby may be part cheesecake.”
