Frankel, 42, filed for divorce three weeks ago. At the time, the couple said they were on friendly terms and Hoppy was even spotted still wearing his wedding ring and sharing the couple’s $5 million SoHo loft.
But now everything is up for grabs. Frankel won’t get away without a fight on nearly every aspect of her filing, from custody of their two-year-old daughter Bryn to who will pay whom child support alimony and other costs, according to Hoppy’s court filing.
Along with custody of Bryn, Hoppy wants “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence,” gossip site TMZ reported.
Frankel is reportedly worth $100 million although the amount is sketchy because it’s based on the sale of her Skinnygirl cocktail mixer line.
Frankel is on the verge of launching her own daytime talk show, which could see her income soar if successful. Ellen DeGeneres is producing Frankel’s talk show.
She whined to DeGeneres earlier this month about the break up of her marriage, but it was far form idyllic.
Fellow reality star Omarosa Manigault-Stallwort said on national television that Hoppy was gay and the marriage was a “showmance.” An allegation Frankel denied.
Frankel complained early on that they had stopped having sex. “I feel like a failure,” Frankel wailed to Ellen. “I really put it out there. I wanted the fairytale. I thought I had it.”
Frankel may also have her sights set on a far more lucrative relationship with billionaire pal Warren Lichtenstein, who heads the $4 billion New York-based hedge fund Steel Partners, according to The New York Post.
But a source told the U.K.’s Daily Mail they are “great friends” of more than 20 years, and he has merely been providing her with support.
