Magnano was married and the mother of eight-year-old twins. She went under the knife on Thursday at a plastic surgery centre in Buenos Aires.

The beauty queen was rushed to hospital the day after he surgery. Dr. Gonzalo Cortes y Tristan said she arrived at his hospital with an acute respiratory deficiency.

Her condition deteriorated until she suffered the embolism. suffering from a pulmonary embolism, when a foreign body, usually a blood clot, blocks the supply of blood to the lungs.

Juan Carlos Seiler, former president of an Argentinian association of plastic surgeons, suggested that the doctor who performed the procedure on Magnano might not have been “a real professional” from an approved cosmetic surgery centre.

A blood clot in the veins can be fatal. They can be caused by overly long operating time and general anesthesia. They can occur as a result of a medical condition or from immobilization (which allows the blood to pool) such as pregnancy, international airplane flights, and recovery from surgery, according to medical journals.

They are also difficult to predict. Patients who have liposuction in their legs or surgery on their lower extremities are at higher risk.
“She only underwent the procedure because she thought it was no big deal,” said Guillermo Azar, another friend.
