Housewives of New York reality celebrity Bethenny Frankel can’t seem to get over how pregnancy is changing her body. Now that she is eight months along, she says she feels like a “swollen beast.”
By now, Bethenny is used to putting her personal life on public display and she had no qualms about posting a picture of her pregnant self in a bikini on her Facebook account.
“I may be having a girl. I’m a swollen beast. my face exploded, Frankel informed her fans in April 9 Tweet.
While she looks like she really hasn’t gained that much weight in her legs and tush, her face is unnaturally puffed up looking, something that hasn’t eluded Bethenny.
“Put bags of frozen veggies on my face & swelling reduced…Just had massage to try to de-swell face & feet….I look like a chipmunk,” she Twitted.

Bethenny, the author of the diet book “Naturally Skinny,” and a self-described natural foods chef, admitted she’s growing concerned over her swelling face.
But she says her husband, Manhattan real estate agent Jason Hoppy, whom she wed in March after she became pregnant, is fine with her expanding waistline.
“Jason loves it, ‘He says you’re thick and I love it,” says Bethenny. “I think he is having some sort of sick pregnancy fantasy. He is having a pregnant porno fantasy, so everyone is happy!”
The 5’5″ Bethenny has revealed that she had suffered from eating disorders for years and was heavier than she is now.
“I used to be 20 pounds heavier,” she said. “I would have been 50 pounds heavier, but I was white-knuckling it my whole life. I was completely obsessed with food.”
Frankel is now filming her own reality show called “Bethenny’s Getting Married” (a spinoff of the Bravo hit the “Real Housewives of New York City.”
With her baby is due in June, she has already launched her own fitness DVD line and written a second diet book called “The Skinnygirl Dish.”

Bethenny – I can totally relate to you. I have always been a bit outspoken and I think if I videotaped myself and some of the things that I say, I would probably surprise myself. It is both a strength and a flaw, but it is who we are. I was once told by a good friend that she has always appreciated that aspect about me because she always knew where she stood. I think that your true friends will always see that characteristic as a strength and not a flaw. Don’t change who you are, stay true to you.

Should someone with an eating disorder really be talking about being “naturally thin.” Sadly, I don’t see any signs that she has gotten over her food problems and marrying a personal trainer seems part of the whole package for folks in denial.
