Kourtney Kardashian is the latest celebrity to miraculously trim down to her former bikini body a mere four months after giving birth to son Mason and she’s showing it off. Plus, she’s revealing how she did it.
Kourtney covers the latest issue of Life & Style magazine to talk about her weight loss, but she isn’t endorsing the weight-losing concoction Quick Trim that sisters Kim and Khloe are pushing.

Instead, Kourtney said she went right to work getting back in shape by starting small, and knowing what works best for your body.
“I used to always get a chai latte from Starbucks, but I just switched to one espresso shot,” Kourtney tells Life & Style. “Simply swapping 16 ounces of latte for an espresso saves 235 calories!
I’m allowing myself one serving of caffeine while breastfeeding, and the latte was really all sugar and milk,” she says.
“I was eating a lot of dried fruit, and I didn’t realize how much sugar that added. And now I’ll eat raw almonds instead of salted ones.”
Kourtney wants to get back into shape but she doesn’t want to lose all of her baby fat. She says she likes the way her bottom looks and wants to keep it. So she looked for exercises that will help lift and tone it.
“I want to try to do squats — stuff that will keep the booty up there,” she says about the classic power move that helps lift, tone and define the legs, quads, hamstrings and glutes.”
“I’m big on running — just putting on my iPod Shuffle and going for a run by my house,” says Kourtney.
She also uses the treadmill or elliptical at her mom’s house. Nutritionist Oz Garcia says choosing an enjoyable activity is half the battle. “You’ll be having fun and losing weight at the same time.”
Finally, she says, keep your menu fresh.
“Frozen yogurt tastes so chemically to me because I’ve been eating salads and salmon and chicken,” she says.
“Fresh food is so much better.” Garcia agrees: “By simply cutting out processed foods, products with high sugar and the bread basket, you’ll shed pounds more efficiently.”
