Marcia Cross thinks she has evidence that fashion smarts may be in the genes. She admits her daughters have inherited hers, or lack lack thereof, that is.
Marcia, 47, is known for her perfect complexion. But plastic surgeons at Web site Make Me Heal think Marcia is going under the needle at the very least, and possibly even the knife, to stay looking fresh and young. What are her secrets?
The “Desperate Housewives” actress says two-month-old twins Eden and Savannah like boring clothes and have no interest in adventurous garments.
“I’m a terrible dresser. Everything you see me in is made up from somebody else,” she told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, whose own fashion sense is challenged, to say the least.
“I thought maybe these girls will have a little something going on. So I was like, ‘Whatever you want to wear…’” she said. “But I have one who will only wear navy blue from head-to-toe – that’s Savannah, who we call Savvy. Socks, underwear, leggings, shirt and navy blue ties in her hair.
“Eden will only wear a green shirt and black pants. It looks like I’m a really boring dresser and I dress my kids that way, but truthfully it was their choice!”
Marcia’s husband Tom Mahoney is battling cancer, and she recently revealed that she insists on giving her children healthy meals.
“I keep them away from junk food. They don’t know about cookies yet so everything they eat is healthy.
“They’ve had a bite of an organic cupcake for their birthday but it’s always healthy foods, especially now before they find out about junk food,” she said.

If she is getting treatments, it’s likely injectable Botox around her eyes and forehead and possibly fillers around her mouth and lips.
“Marcia Cross looks great. It appears she may have had some Botox as her face is completely line free. I do not see evidence of other work. She is a naturally beautiful woman and I would not change a thing,” said Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills.
