New Moon's Christian Serratos Bares (Almost) All for PETA

“Twilight” hottie Christian Serratos, 19, is the latest actress from the hit movie to vamp it up in a bid to capitalize on the series’ popularity. Following in the footsteps of “Twilight” co-star Ashley Greene, the young starlet is showing off her wares in a semi-nude ad for PETA. See a gallery of PETA stars.

But at least Serratos is shedding her clothes for a good cause, taking a stand against the slaughter of animals for their fur in a PETA ad. On the other hand, first nude photos of Greene leaked onto the Internet followed by a series of bikini photos, in which she looked stunning.

Serratos joins a growing list of celebrities, including Charlize Theron, Eva Mendes, Karina Smirnoff, and Khloe Kardashian, who have appeared in their own skin in PETA’s anti-fur ads. See the PETA Gallery

Both Greene and Serratos are lesser stars in the “Twilight” saga, and both are vying among young Hollywood starlets for a future career in more mature roles.

So no surprise that they are trying to call more attention to themselves, while the “Twilight” series is in full swing.

Serratos resume is fairly thin, but she’s no novice in Hollywood. She has solid acting credits from work on shows like “Hannah Montana,” “Zoey 101” and “7th Heaven.”

She also co-starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Cow Belles.”

She portrayed Angela Weber in “Twilight,” and is reprising Angela in New “Moon’ and “Eclipse.” Angela is one of Bella Swan’s classmates.

Christian’s naked ad debuts while promotion is in full swing on “The Twilight Saga: New Moon.’ It opens Nov. 20.

In fact, the photo plays off of “Twilight.” Christian poses in a dark, foreboding forest, and the svelte Serratos looks like she just waiting for a hot vampire to come by and put a seductive bite on her.

At 19, Serratos is also the youngest celebrity to pose nude for PETA’s iconic anti-fur campaign ads, which all feature semi-nude celebrities.

“I’ve always been opposed to slaughtering, eating, wearing carcasses,” she tells the organization in an interview.
