Dr. Oz: Tosca Reno’s Eat-Clean Diet Spurs Fast Weight Loss

Nutritionist Tosca Reno credited her clean-eating diet for her stunning 70-pound weight loss on the Aug. 6 episode of the Dr. Oz Show.

Reno said eating clean, organic food is the best way to experience natural weight loss, optimal health and anti-aging beauty benefits.

Tosca, author of the Start Here Diet, said you can dramatically improve your health and lose weight easily by doing the following:

(1) eliminate processed foods from your diet

(2) buy organic fruits and vegetables

(3) cook at home more often, and

(4) add lemon juice and a pinch of salt to your water, to ensure you get more electrolytes and are better hydrated.

Reno, 55, used her Start Here Diet to lose 70 pounds during her early 40s and dramatically improve her blood sugar levels and heart health.

Tosca also shared her tips for eliminating cellulite and combating menopause.

Reno said she had a health epiphany at age 40, when she realized she was settling for an unhappy marriage and an unhealthy, out-of-shape body.

Tosca then overhauled her diet to feature only clean, organic foods and has never looked or felt better.

On a separate segment of the Dr. Oz Show, he revealed how diet sodas can cause heart attacks, diabetes and give you a thick waist.

Oz said the unhealthy combination of artificial sweeteners and caramel coloring in diet sodas dramatically increase the risk of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and excess belly fat — all of which contribute to heart attacks.
