“I was an original, all right?” Aniston joked to Extra. “Sorry, Kim K.” In 1996, Jennifer posed for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine with her bare butt visible in the background.
But Jennifer said her Rolling Stone cover wasn’t meant to be sexually aggressive, as Kardashian’s provocative nude photo spread was. “That was just innocent,” said Aniston. “There’s nothing aggressive about that.”
Jennifer maintains her fit bottom (and physique) with yoga workouts and a low carb diet, but let herself go for the upcoming film “Cake,” Examiner reported.
Aniston gained weight by not exercising for two months and eating more. Jennifer said the dramatic “makeunder” was necessary to play Claire Simmons, a depressed woman who’s recovering from a debilitating car accident.
“I basically just didn’t work out for two-and-a-half months,” said Aniston. “I stopped working out and I stopped being as careful about my diet as I normally am. I was still healthy, but I’d allow more.”
Aniston usually does yoga three to five days a week with Mandy Ingber, author of Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover.
Ingber told me in an exclusive interview that she has practiced yoga with her close friend for more than 20 years.
“We meet up about three times a week, and our sessions are 60 to 90 minutes,” Ingber told me. “We incorporate cardio and toners into the yoga sessions, much like I do in my Yogalosophy DVD.”
Aniston, who previously followed the Zone diet, now embraces a low carb diet. Her weight loss secrets include yoga, cardio exercise and limiting carbs. “I usually give myself bread on the weekends, but really, my body doesn’t love carbs,” she said.
Aniston previously said her anti-aging beauty secrets include plenty of sleep, managing stress and taking care of her skin with sunscreen and moisturizer.
When asked what her weirdest beauty regimen was, Aniston laughed. “The closest I’ll ever go is a Derma roller,” she told the AP. “Google it — it’s great.
“It’s like a little wheel that has little pins, like acupuncture needles in a way, and you roll it and it stimulates your collagen and it also allows for your products to seep into your skin.”
Thanks to her lifelong dedication to health, Jennifer looks incredible, and doesn’t dread getting older. “I really try not to focus on [age] too much,” she said. “Society focuses on it way more than we need to.”
