Giudice, 42, recently filmed a cooking video before she begin her 15-month jail sentence on Jan. 5.
Teresa served up her recipe for devil shrimp over angel hair pasta, taken from her bestselling cookbook Fabulicious! Fit & Fast.
The pasta recipe includes Teresa’s homemade red sauce and spicy sautéed shrimp. “My recipes are quick easy and delicious,” said Giudice. “Seafood and pasta together is the score.”
Giudice, who speaks fluent Italian, said most of her recipes were passed down from her mom.
“My mom was born in Italy, I’m first generation here,” said Teresa. “Then from learning how to cook with my mom, I started coming up with my own recipes.”
Teresa previously revealed she’s suffering from depression, while her husband, Joe, has been abusing alcohol after their shocking jail sentences for mortgage fraud.
Joe Giudice was sentenced to three and a half years in jail and will start his sentence after Teresa completes her 15-month prison term.
Teresa said her main concern is over her four daughters: Gia, 13, Gabriella, 10, Audriana, 5, and Milania, 8.
“What depresses me is not being there for my daughters,” said Teresa, who was sentenced to 15 months in jail. “I can’t even imagine not being there. They need their mom.”
Teresa, who reportedly earns $650,000 plus bonuses for each season of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has written four bestselling cookbooks, including:
- Fabulicious! Fit & Fast
- Skinny Italian
- Fabulicious!: Teresa’s Italian Family Cookbook and
- Fabulicious!: On the Grill
Teresa said her legal troubles have humbled her and made her less concerned about living high on the hog, like she once did. “I’m not trying to keep up with the Joneses,” said Giudice. “I’m not trying to spend money I don’t have. I’m going to do fine [in prison].”
