Kim Kardashian is the cover girl for the February 2015 issue of Australian Vogue, where she flaunted her 56-pound weight loss in sizzling swimsuit photos. Kardashian said she’s enjoying juggling motherhood, marriage and her thriving entertainment career but admitted it’s hard work.
“Since I’ve become a mom I’ve figured out how to prioritize [my career] the best that I ever have. It’s definitely harder but you figure it out,” said Kim.
“I think the biggest misconception about me is probably that I don’t work hard and everything comes easy. I like to prove people wrong and just live my life and do what I do and work hard and I’m proud of that.”
Kardashian, who’s constantly criticized for being fat, getting numerous plastic surgery procedures and being a fame whore, has learned to ignore haters.
“Everyone has critics,” she said. “I think it’s really hard to live in a world where there’s so many people judging you.”
Her detractors haven’t stopped Kim from posing nude for “Paper” magazine recently and going on with her exhibitionist ways.
Kardashian is proud of her post-baby body and credited a low carb, ketogenic style Atkins diet for her 56-pound weight loss, according to Examiner.
Low-carb, high-fat diets such as the Atkins, Paleo and ketogenic diets produce rapid weight loss by forcing the body to burn fat for fuel in a metabolic state called ketosis, said Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
Low carb diets accelerate weight loss without hunger, said Colette Heimowitz, author of The New Atkins Made Easy.
While Kardashian is celebrated for her voluptuous curves, she said it took years for her to embrace her body.
“I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford’s. No one looked like me,” said Kim.
