Kyle Richards, star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” gave an update on the health of her RHOBH co-star, Yolanda Foster.
“She’s just really struggling,” Kyle said Jan. 20 on Bravo TV’s “Watch What Happens Live” talk show. “I’m just hoping that she’s gonna get better soon. It’s terrible.”
Richards, who hasn’t always been close with Yolanda, said the two communicate by text messages and email these days.
However, reading texts and emails are a struggle for Foster, who said she can no longer read, write or watch TV due to the brain-sapping effects of Lyme disease, Examiner reported. “I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter,” said Yolanda.
“It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”
Foster is a Dutch former model who’s married to Grammy-winning songwriter David Foster and is the mother of budding supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Yolanda, 50, was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012. She relapsed in December 2014 and has only recovered 60 percent of her health.
Yolanda has been traveling to Singapore and South Korea to seek alternative treatments for Lyme disease because many of the holistic drugs and therapies for the illness are blocked by the FDA in the United States.
Foster revealed on previous episodes of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she was bedridden for 18 months after being diagnosed with the bacterial infection.
Meanwhile, Kyle said she and co-star Brandi Glanville are no longer friends after having a huge falling-out this season. “[Brandi] just turned on me like she does on everyone else,” said Richards, author of Life Is Not a Reality Show.
On the Jan. 20 episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle and Brandi almost come to blows after Richards allegedly shoved Glanville.
Brandi took to Twitter to defend herself and blamed the tussle on Kyle.
“Kyle roughly grabbed I twisted free,” Glanville tweeted. “Kyle roughly grabbed AGAIN, her nails SCRATCHING into my arm PULLING me. I had to push her off.”
The divorced Brandi, who has dated a string of hot men over the years, shared her dating anecdotes and relationship advice in her New York Times bestselling book, Drinking and Dating.
