Bobby Brown’s family got into a bloody brawl Feb. 6 after visiting the Georgia hospital where his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, lingers near death in a coma.
Sources told TMZ Bobby’s nephew’s, Shayne Brown, called Bobby’s older sister Tina “a crackhead” during a family dinner at their hotel restaurant.
A furious Tina spit in her son Shayne’s face and hit him over the head with a bottle. Witnesses said multiple punches were thrown. “[There was] blood everywhere,” said one eyewitness.
Shayne had to get stitches after suffering an ugly gash on his head, and two other people were injured. No arrests were made.
Cops told TMZ the fight began after Bobby’s sister Tina and her son started arguing over a valet parking ticket. After Tina attacked Shayne, he started throwing punches at her.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina remains in a medically induced coma with very little brain function, as doctors have told family members there is nothing more they can do.
Bobbi Kristina likely suffered irreparable brain damage after suffering oxygen deprivation for as much as 15 minutes. Bobbi’s father, singer Bobby Brown, is inconsolable over his daughter’s impending death.
“Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye,” said a family member. “Bobby has been crying nonstop. We are grieving.”
In a statement, the Brown family denied Bobbi Kristina is brain dead, notwithstanding the grim reality that she has diminished brain capacity and has little chance of recovering.
An unconscious Bobbi Kristina was found face down by her friend, Maxwell Lomas, on Jan. 31 in the bathtub of her home in Roswell, Georgia. Lomas called 911 while Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick Brown, administered CPR.
Bobbi Kristina’s father, singer Bobby Brown, said lawyers are investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s near-drowning, Examiner reported.
Bobbi Kristina’s mother, superstar Whitney Houston, died of an accidental bathtub drowning in 2012. Whitney, who was 48 when she died, had a history of drug addiction in the years before her death.
Sources said Bobbi Kristina was extremely depressed as the three-year anniversary of her mom’s death was approaching. Whitney Houston died on Feb. 11, 2012.
Whitney’s mom, Grammy Award–winning gospel singer Cissy Houston, detailed her daughter’s life, triumphs, struggles and death in her book, Remembering Whitney.
