Martha Stewart is aging gracefully at 73, thanks to a healthy diet, careful skincare and yoga workouts.
Stewart, a self-made billionaire who runs her own media empire, said her beauty and fitness secrets include anti-aging beauty creams and wrinkle serums, meditation and yoga workouts.
When preparing for a photo shoot, Martha exercises, eats well and makes sure she gets enough sleep, People reported. “I [started] preparing several days in advance by making sure I didn’t miss a work out, drink any alcoholic beverages, and I made sure I got enough sleep because I wanted to look really good,” said Stewart.
Martha said people often compliment her on her hair and skin, so she takes good care of them with her favorite shampoos and conditioners.
“For me haircare is like skin care: I try to use a variety of products,” said Stewart.”Frederic Fekkai Ageless shampoo and conditioner and Shu Uemura, the green line, are my two favorites.” To keep her skin smooth and wrinkle-free, Stewart uses her favorite soaps and wrinkle creams. “I use:
- Yon-Ka Gommage mask
- Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap
- Susan Ciminelli Hydrating Formula
- SkinCeuticals Serum, and
- Cle De Peau La Crème as part of my beauty routine,” said Martha.
- “I’ve also been wearing Fracas as my fragrance since I was 19.”
Stewart said careful cleansing is important for keeping your skin youthful. “I always have Johnson’s Baby Oil in my medicine cabinet,” said Martha. “At night, I wash my face really well, because I have to have my makeup done a lot.
Johnson’s Baby Oil with a warm washcloth is one great way to take it off. I like oil because it keeps my skin very moist, and it works for me. I don’t get clogged pores.”
Martha also makes a point to follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly with soothing yoga workouts, Examiner reported. Holistic health experts say yoga is anti-aging, promotes natural weight loss and reduces stress.
