Aniston credits a low-carb diet and yoga workouts for her banging bikini body, Examiner reported.
Low carb diets such as the ketogenic, Paleo and Atkins diets fuel rapid weight loss by forcing the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
Unlike other celebrities, Jennifer enjoys aging, saying this is the best time of her life. “I’ve had more fun post-40 than I can remember,” she said. “From a work point of view, a physical point of view, a psycho-therapeutic point of view.”
Aniston has practiced yoga for more than 20 years with Mandy Ingber, her longtime friend and yoga teacher, saying the meditative practice tones her body and calms her mind. “If yoga didn’t exist, I’d invent it,” said Jennifer.
Mandy, author of the bestseller, Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover, has practiced yoga with Aniston for more than 20 years, Ingber told in an exclusive interview.
“We meet up about three times a week, and our sessions are 60 to 90 minutes,” said Inger. “We incorporate cardio and toners into the yoga sessions, much like I do in my Yogalosophy DVD.”
Aniston’s anti-aging beauty secrets also include meditation, stress management and drinking plenty of water. When asked what her weirdest beauty regimen was, Jennifer laughed. “The closest I’ll ever go is a Derma roller,” said Aniston. “Google it — it’s great. It’s like a little wheel that has little pins, like acupuncture needles in a way, and you roll it and it stimulates your collagen and it also allows for your products to seep into your skin.”
Thanks to her lifetime dedication to health and fitness, Jennifer looks and feels incredible, and doesn’t dread getting older. “I really try not to focus on it too much,” said Aniston. “Society focuses on it way more than we need to.”
