Jennifer Lawrence showed off her stunning looks in new photos for Christian Dior’s “Be Dior” ad campaign.
Lawrence, 24, looked sultry and sophisticated modeling the fashion house’s Dior leather bag. The stylized snapshots were captured by photographer Paolo Roversi.
Jennifer has joked that she “loves Photoshop,” saying celebrities never look as good in person as they do in their digitally enhanced images, Examiner reported.
“That doesn’t look like me at all,” Jennifer laughed when shown her ad for Christian Dior makeup. “I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it’s Photoshop! People don’t look like that.”
Lawrence, who already has an Oscar, made headlines in November 2014 after The Hanging Tree, the haunting tune she sang in the film adaptation of the book The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, reached the Top 40 chart in the U.K. Lawrence showed she has sizzling dance moves in her award-winning film Silver Linings Playbook, so becoming a pop star would be a cakewalk for the versatile Jennifer.
Surprisingly, Jennifer was so anxious about singing in the movie that she broke down in tears, said director Francis Lawrence.
“I knew she didn’t love the idea of singing, but I didn’t realize how nervous she was until when we started the first take, and she was in tears,” said Lawrence. “Not totally broken down, but she was unhappy. She would have much rather we used somebody else’s voice.”
Interestingly, “The Hanging Tree” is not included on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
In the end, the track turned out great because of its authenticity. And Lawrence actually has a very pleasant singing voice (listen below).
“It shouldn’t sound like a professional,” the director said. “It should sound like a real girl singing. So she did it. And she has a really cool sound to her voice.”
