Taylor Swift has reportedly insured her legs for $40 million, and keeps them toned with a healthy diet and running.
“If anything happened to her legs, Taylor wouldn’t be able to give her dynamic, signature stage performances,” a source told the Enquirer March 10. “She thought her legs were possibly worth a million, but $40 million shocked her. She’s even a little embarrassed about it.”
The leggy 5-foot-10 Swift loves to show off her gams, so the hefty insurance policy doesn’t come as a shock, especially since other entertainers such as Rihanna, Tina Turner and Heidi Klum also insure their legs.
Taylor’s fitness secrets include a healthy diet and intense cardio exercise, Examiner reported.
“I like to feel really tired afterward, sweaty and disgusting,” said Swift. “I don’t care about losing weight as much as feeling good about myself.”
Taylor typically does a 60-minute cardio workout on the treadmill or the elliptical trainer every day because she loves food and refuses to deprive herself.

“You can’t indulge without exercising, so I exercise because I love eating and I don’t want to live without anything,” said Swift, who recently released her first pop album, Red.
Taylor added: “But I also exercise because on the occasional day when I’m feeling low, it always makes me feel better. During the week, I try to eat healthily, so that means salads, yogurt, and sandwiches, no sugary drinks. I try to keep it lighter, but it’s nothing too regimented or crazy.”
On the weekends, Swift allows herself to enjoy cookies, ice cream, burgers and fries. Taylor, who loves cooking, usually has a big breakfast and then eats less throughout the day.
“I try to eat a lot in the beginning of the day and not so much at the end,” said Swift.
Taylor Swift was recently named New York City’s global welcome ambassador for tourism and released her first pop album, 1989. “I’m so enthusiastic about this city,” said Swift, whose new track Welcome to New York is already a monster hit.
“New York was a huge landscape for what became this album. It’s affected my life in ways I’m not even aware of fully.”
Taylor has lived in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood since last spring, and has been urging her friend Selena Gomez to move to NYC.
“New York City is unlike any city in the whole world,” said Swift. “It’s almost like it has its own heartbeat. You can find fashion that inspires you, art that inspires you, humanity that inspires you.”
