Kim Kardashian May Use Surrogate for Second Pregnancy After 56-Pound Ketogenic Weight Loss

Kim Kardashian is considering using a surrogate to carry her second baby after complaining she has been unable to get pregnant despite having lots of sex with husband Kanye West.

Kardashian, 34, revealed on the season 10 premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians March 15 that she and Kanye are having sex “500 times a day” but she can’t seem to get pregnant.

“It’s so frustrating,” Kim said to KUWTK cameras. “I’m exhausted, and I think I’m just really making this all about the wrong things. I’m forcing it. We just need to relax and we just need to not stress over it, not plan so much and just go with the flow.”

During the past few months, Kim has discussed her infertility struggles in media interviews while at the same time lamenting her recent weight gain, causing some fans to speculate that the real reason she wants to use a surrogate is because she doesn’t want to gain baby weight.

Kardashian gained 56 pounds while pregnant with daughter North, and complained of swollen feet, high blood pressure and feeling fat and unhappy. The 5-foot-2 Kim was also relentlessly mocked by the media after ballooning to over 180 pounds.

Kim previously credited the low-carb ketogenic-inspired Atkins diet for her 56-pound post-baby weight loss and waist training to flatten her abs, Examiner reported.

Waist-training, or the “Corset Diet,” is a weight loss trend some women use to winnow down their midsection.

“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.

Kim said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller ahead of her May 2014 wedding to Kanye West. The measure sounds drastic, but actress Jessica Alba has credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic post-baby weight loss.

Similarly, Brooke Burke Charvet, creator of the Transform Your Body workout DVD, said wearing a corset was responsible for her stunning post-baby weight loss after each of her four pregnancies.

“Wrapping your post-partum belly is a concept that has been around for centuries,” said Burke Charvet, who has her own line of belly wraps called Baboosh. “It works as a compression garment. It helps the swelling of the uterus go back down to its original size and it supports all that baggy baby skin. It is a great, great way to get back in shape.”
