Bethenny Frankel, star of The Real Housewives of New York City, has lost weight recently and admitted that at 115 pounds, she is skinny but that’s part of her brand.
Yeah, I am thin,” Bethenny said on the Dr. Oz Show. “I have a brand called Skinnygirl, so it’s not a big giant mystery. You can’t please everybody. You try to please everybody and you end up pleasing nobody.”
Frankel continued, “Sometimes I do agree that I look too thin, especially when I’m tired, especially when I’m haggard. I do eat. There are nutritionists that comment that I don’t even weigh 100 pounds. I weigh 115 pounds.”
In 2011, Bethenny admitted she had struggled with anorexia, bulimia and laxative abuse for decades, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.“Until my early 30s, I spent my entire life being obsessed with dieting,” said Frankel. “Bingeing and then fasting or starving. I used to forbid myself from everything. That’s how I used to be: up and down five pounds every single day, to the extremes.”
After spending two decades being obsessed with weight loss, diet and exercise, Bethenny is more relaxed about her body. Frankel detailed her fitness secrets in her book, Naturally Thin.
Frankel said she no longer suffers from anorexia and bulimia, but is thinner than ever. The 5-foot-6 Bethenny said she stays fit by following a portion-controlled diet and doing yoga workouts.
BethennyFrankel shared her weight loss and success secrets in her bestseller, Skinnygirl Solutions.
