Giuliana Rancic Bikini Body Unveiled: Had Binge Eating Disorder, Denies Anorexia

Giuliana Rancic showcased her healthy bikini body and booty after gaining some weight recently.

Rancic declared she feels on “top of the world” in posted an Instagram photo, where she showed off a meatier frame in a tiny bikini.

Giuliana has come under fire for her dramatic recent weight loss. While Rancic has vehemently denied suffering from anorexia, she admitted having a binge-eating disorder in her new book, “Going Off Script.”

Rancic said she fell into a deep depression after being dumped by actor Jerry O’Connell in 2004, and coped by overeating and gaining 18 pounds.

“I sank into a depression,” Giuliana recounted in her memoir Going Off Script. “The only thing that made me feel better was dessert. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, but sugar became my drug, and I went on a binge every single night.”

Rancic said she binge-ate high-calorie desserts every night for almost a year after the nasty breakup. Giuliana was horrified and guilt-ridden after eating Oreo cheesecakes, pies and a hot fudge sundae in a single evening.

“In the morning, I would look at myself in the mirror and start crying,” said Giuliana, who was even more depressed after learning she had gained 18 pounds.

Rancic said she consulted a nutritionist to help wean her off sugar. “I know this was an addiction,” wrote Rancic, 40. “I was like a crackhead who meets her dealer under the bridge.”

Giuliana recently appeared on the Dr. Oz Show, where she denied having anorexia or bulimia. Giuliana blamed her dramatic weight loss on the cancer drug Tamoxifen.

Critics pointed out that Tamoxifen is associated with weight gain — not weight loss — among most cancer patients, but she claimed the drugs caused her to lose weight.

Ironically, Rancic detailed her strict low-calorie, low-carb, low-fat diet in a now-deleted blog post, excerpted in the Examiner.

Her daily menu consisted of the following: pre-dawn drinks of yerba mate tea and kombucha tea (“It totally helps with hunger cravings,” said Giuliana.).

Breakfast was a grapefruit and an egg-white omelette with green vegetables. (“I always say NO BUTTER, NO OIL. Instead tell them to cook it in a light mist of Pam cooking spray. Tell them you’re allergic to butter so they don’t slip it in there like a lot of places do,” Rancid wrote.)

Lunch was chicken breast or salmon with steamed broccoli followed by an afternoon snack of fresh vegetable juice with an apple, grapefruit, or sugar-free cereal bar.

For dinner, Giuliana had sushi with brown rice without mayonnaise or grilled fish. “I don’t use any sauces at all,” wrote Rancic. Giuliana also revealed she avoids carbs and has only has a few bites if she absolutely can’t avoid them:

“If I just MUST have pasta, I will let my husband order it and have some bites of his. Or I will order a healthy dish and ask for a half order of the pasta (no cream, ever!) on the side.

I will eat half of the side of pasta and pass the rest around the table so my friends can try it. That way you are impressing the table with your generosity and cutting lots of calories :)
