Khloe Kardashian feels fantastic after her 35-pound weight loss, which she attributed to an exercise addiction and a healthy diet.
Khloe recently showed off her gym-toned body and dramatic weight loss in a sizzling photo spread for Complex magazine.
Khloe’s weight loss secrets are intense workouts, a dairy-free diet and corset waist training.
Kardashian, who has struggled with weight for years, said she lost 35 pounds recently and couldn’t be happier.
“I’ve lost like 35 pounds,” Khloe told Nova FM radio July 31. “Once you start losing weight and seeing results, you’re like, ‘I want to see more!’ ” Kardashian said she’s addicted to working out now because it has dramatically reshaped her body.
“I’m so into it,” said Khloe. “Even this morning, I’ve been up since 2:30 a.m. because I was jetlagged and couldn’t sleep, and I still went to the gym this morning.”
While Khloe loves the weight loss she has experienced, she says exercise also makes her feel happy and energetic.
“About two years ago I decided to turn to fitness as a form of therapy and as a stress reliever,” Khloe said on Instagram. “I started slow and eventually I started working out 4 to 5 days a week.”
In addition to rigorous workouts, Kardashian claims corset waist training has helped her get flat abs.
Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian also do corset waist training to flatten their abs and slim down their waistline, as Celebrity Health & Fitness previously reported.
“This is a remarkable way to train your waist to be smaller,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Sinclair, who claims some of his patients have lost up to six inches.
Khloe’s sister Kim said she wore a waist trainer to bed every night to make her waist smaller ahead of her May 2014 wedding to Kanye West.
The measure sounds drastic, but actress Jessica Alba has credited wearing double corsets around the clock for three months for her dramatic weight loss after each of her two pregnancies.
Celebrity fitness expert Gunnar Peterson, who trains Khloe and her sister Kim, also gushed over Khloe’s dedication to exercise.
“Khloe’s a full-on animal in the gym,” said Gunnar. “No complaining, no b*tching. The changes she’s made [to her body] are incredible. She’s done it the right way. Nothing fast, just hard work.”
Peterson, creator of Gunnar’s Core Secrets fitness DVD, said Khloe’s workouts include cardio, plyometric pushups, hauling a sled, dead lifts, resistance bands and ab exercises. Kardashian also does Pilates and lots of squats.
