Sam Smith Flaunts 50-Pound Weight Loss On Paleo Diet: Shares ‘Writing On The Wall’

Sam Smith shared “Writing’s On the Wall,” a song from his sound track for the new James Bond movie, “Spectre.” In the cover art, Smith looked slim and handsome after his 50-pound Paleo diet weight loss.

Smith said working on the sound track for “Spectre” is one of the highlights of his career, which includes 4 Grammy wins.

“Spectre,” which stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, hits U.S. theaters in November.

Meanwhile, Smith looks fantastic after losing 50 pounds on a low-carb Paleo-based diet.

In March 2015, Smith revealed he lost 14 pounds in 14 days on a low-carb Paleo-style diet, Examiner reported. Sam credited nutritionist Amelia Freer’s detox diet for helping him slim down and improve his health.

The Paleo diet is the most popular diet around today and has a huge celebrity following, including Tim McGraw, who lost 40 pounds with the low-carb Paleo diet and CrossFit.

Research suggests the Paleo diet accelerates weight loss, reduces blood pressure, and prevents cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, and even Alzheimer’s.

A recent study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition indicates the Paleo diet is twice as effective as other diets for promoting weight loss and reducing belly fat.

The Paleo diet can reduce the risk of heart disease, aid weight loss and prevent disease, said CJ Hunt, executive producer of the documentary The Perfect Human Diet and author of the how-to companion book The Perfect Human Diet.

Former biochemist Robb Wolf, author of The Paleo Solution, said Paleo isn’t a fad diet because it doesn’t emphasize calorie restriction but instead focuses on a healthy balance of protein, vegetables and high-quality fats.
