Jenna Dewan Tatum showcased her natural beauty in topless makeup-free selfies posted to her Instagram account. In the intimate photos, Jenna appears nude except for a tiny gold chain around her neck.
Dewan, the wife of actor Channing Tatum, said her husband had snapped the pictures during a Mexican beach vacation.
At 34, Jenna looks youthful and fit after losing 33 pounds just 7 weeks after giving birth to daughter Everly in 2013. Dewan Tatum’s weight loss secrets were a vegan diet and cardio dance workouts, Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.
Jenna’s daily vegan diet includes lots of fresh vegetables, oatmeal, green salads with chopped-up veggie burger and vegan enchiladas.
Dewan and other celebrity vegans like Demi Moore, Shania Twain and Beyonce have praised the weight loss and anti-aging health benefits of a plant-based diet.
The age-defying effects of vegan and vegetarian diets are no surprise to Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.
“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.
Dr. Neal Barnard agrees. “Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” Barnard wrote in his book, the 21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart. “A vegan diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, is full of antioxidants which help protect the body from damage by free radicals.”
Jenna Dewan also works out for 90 minutes, four days a week, with her trainer, and does cardio dance workouts, hiking and strength-training on her own. Tatum, a lifelong fitness fanatic, incorporates her daughter into her daily exercise routine.
