
Kate Middleton looked every inch the royal princess in a glittery tiara and form-fitting red dress as she, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth hosted a state banquet at Buckingham Palace Oct. 20.
Middleton, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth welcomed their guest of honor, Chinese President Xi Jinping, at the state banquet, which was held in a magnificent ballroom regally set up for 130 VIP guests.
The occasion marked only the third time Kate has worn her Lotus Flower tiara in public. Middleton wore the crown on previous two occasions: her 2011 wedding and a 2013 Buckingham Palace reception for diplomats.
The menu for Kate’s first state banquet included filet of West Coast Turbot with lobster mousse, roasted loin of Balmoral venison in madeira and truffle sauce, and lots of champagne and wine, Examiner reported.
