Alyssa Milano showed off her recent weight loss on Instagram, where she posted photos of herself rocking a swimsuit.
In a photo posted Nov. 4, Alyssa wears a red swimsuit as she jumps on a beautiful sandy beach.
“This is my Baywatch suit,” Milano wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement. #atkinsallday #nofilter.”
In another snapshot, Alyssa looks gorgeous in a navy one-piece swimsuit as she jokes that she’s “sucking in” her stomach to look thinner.
Alyssa, a mom of two, began the low-carb, high-fat Atkins diet in September 2015 to jump-start her weight loss, as Celebrity Health Fitness has reported.

Other celebrities who have lost weight on the Atkins diet include Kim Kardashian, who lost 56 pounds 6 months after giving birth to daughter North, and Kendra Wilkinson, who lost 55 pounds on Atkins just 5 after giving birth to her second baby.
Nutritionist Collette Heimowitz said low carb diets suppress appetite better than low-fat diets, so you don’t feel hungry all the time like you do on high-carb diets.
“Low-carb diets keep blood sugar levels stable and prevent food cravings,” said Heimowitz, author of New Atkins For a New You Cookbook.
Low carb diets such as the ketogenic, Paleo and Atkins diets promote rapid weight loss by encouraging the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Dr. Eric Westman, co-author of Keto Clarity.
