Singer Adele drew raves for her stirring performance of “Hello” on Saturday Night Live Nov. 21 in New York.
Adele looked glamorous in a form-fitting black dress that spotlighted her dramatic recent weight loss on a vegetarian diet (see video).
Adele’s knockout “SNL” performance came shortly after the release of her third studio alum, 25, which set a new record for one-week U.S. sales.
25 sold a whopping 2.42 million albums in the United States in its first week, smashing the longtime record previously held by NSYNC.
Adele looks amazing and has lost a shocking amount of weight since giving birth to son Angelo in 2012 and has maintained her weight loss with a vegetarian diet and running workouts, Examiner reported.
While she has not discussed how many pounds she lost or what she weighs, a before-and-after photo comparison suggests Adele has shed at least 50 pounds.
“I’m trying to be veggie,” said Adele. “I have to be really healthy and stuff like that. I can find another way of getting all the stuff out of meat you need. I hate that tofu stuff, though. It’s rank. Whenever I’m about to eat meat, I always see my little dog’s eyes.”

Adele said her fiance, Simon Konecki, inspired her to switch to a vegetarian diet.
Adele joins a long list of celebrity vegetarians and vegans, who credit a 100% plant-based diet for its weight loss and anti-aging health benefits. Other celebrity vegans include Beyonce and Demi Moore.
Beyonce’s longtime trainer, Marco Borges, said The 22-Day Revolution diet helped Beyonce lose 65 pounds six months after she gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in 2012
The 5-foot-7 Beyonce, who once weighed 195 pounds, has since maintained her weight loss and looks better than ever.
Borges, who has trained Beyonce since 2007, said her mostly vegan diet is responsible for her sizzling body. “I am not naturally the thinnest,” said Beyonce. I have curves.”
Beyonce continued: “I have struggled since a young age with diets and finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off, has been difficult for me.”
Similarly, Jennifer Lopez has credited Marco’s 22-day vegan diet for her 10-pound weight loss and age-defying beauty. Experiencing easy weight loss and improved health on a vegan diet isn’t surprising to medical experts like Dr. Joel Fuhrman.
“The more greens you eat, the more weight you will lose,” said Dr. Fuhrman, author of The End of Dieting.
Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center, agrees.
“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature — predominantly plants — is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.

Adele is not a workout fanatic, but has made an effort to be more active for health reasons. The British songstress’ weight loss is noteworthy because she has long stated that she’s perfectly happy being a size 14 and refuses to be fat-shamed or weight bullied.
“I’ve always been a size 14-16 and been fine with it,” she said. “I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn’t.”
Adele’s third studio album, 25, dropped Nov. 20. It’s the long-awaited followup to her smash-hit 2011 album, 21, which won six Grammy Awards.
Adele won another Grammy in 2014 for the hit soundtrack for the James Bond film, Skyfall.
